Our organic dates are sourced from the best organic farms in Algeria, where they grow under a dry tropical sun and in rich, fertile soils. They’re carefully selected at the peak of ripeness, then hand pitted, ensuring only the highest quality. Our dates contain no preservatives or added sulphites – they’re simply real food from nature. With high levels of dietary fibre, and a delectable soft caramel flavour, our Raw Pitted Dates make a tasty and nutritious snack, and are great in baking or raw desserts.
Referred to as ‘the Queen of all dates’, deglet noor (dates of light) are so called because of their translucence. They are firm-textured, medium sweet, cure well and are distinguished by a pleasant, nutty aftertaste similar to that of a lightly roasted peanut. Their balanced sugar level, wealth of vitamins and loads of minerals make them an ideal snack or quick energy source. They are a great source of potassium, magnesium, iron, B vitamins and fibre. These dates are moist and are great to use baking or if you want to make bliss balls, simply soak them in hot water first.
