What is a keto diet?
The keto diet is a high fat, low carb diet that usually consists of eating about 70% fat, 25% protein and around 5% carbohydrates. Following this type of eating plan is designed to drive your body into ketosis, a state where the body uses fat as a primary fuel source (instead of carbohydrates). We would always advise checking in with a medical practitioner before beginning any kind of diet.
