ORGANIC LOW FODMAP VEGETABLE STOCK:

San Elk’s certified organic artisan Low FODMAP vegetable stock has been tested and certified by the FODMAP Friendly Program. The ingredients are carefully selected to comply with the Low FODMAP diet. San Elk wanted to create a vegetable stock made from certified organic ingredients, that’s full of flavour and gentle on the stomach.

INGREDIENTS:

Sea salt, corn flour*, raw sugar*, olive oil*, parsley*, turmeric*, tomato*, cracked pepper* and nutmeg. * Denotes certified organic ingredients. Contains no onion, garlic or celery.  

NET WEIGHT:

160g – Makes 13 litres of stock.

DEFINITION OF FODMAP:

FODMAP stands for Fermentable Oligo-, Di-, Mono-saccharides And Polyols.  These are a group of short-chain carbohydrates (sugars) that are poorly absorbed by gut and can trigger symptoms in people suffering from gastrointestinal and irritable bowl syndrome (IBS).  In consultation with a practitioner, a Low FODMAP diet can assist reduce IBS symptoms.

We pack a wide range of natural food products in our designated packing room including nuts, seeds and coconut products. Some of our products are packed on shared equipment before they come to us which may contain gluten, dairy, soy or peanuts. While we do our best to avoid any kind of cross-contamination, this can sometimes occur before products make their way to us and therefore any of our products may contain trace amounts of nuts and gluten.
