Organic finely Ground Linseed. Used in our mixes, we have had requests to make this available on our website. An essential to keto baking, our Organic Ground Linseed is also a wonderful egg replacement when made into a flax egg. Simply mix 2 tablespoons of water with 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed per egg needed, and you have an easy egg replacement which can be used in many recipes! Please note this is brown linseed, not golden.
Linseeds, also called flaxseed, are the richest plant source of omega 3 fats which are essential for healthy a brain, heart, joints and immune system. These seeds are packed with B-complex groups of vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6 and folate. This tiny seed is best ground fresh to preserve its nutritional profile and prevent oxidisation and is a great form of insoluble fibre, which is particularly effective at cholesterol regulation and hormone balancing.
