Organic Multi Grain Rice
To cook this Multigrain Rice rinse 1 cup under running water before placing in a medium saucepan with 2½ cups of water. Cover and bring to the boil, before reducing the heat to a very low simmer for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow to sit for 10 minutes.
Fluff up with a fork before serving. It is also suitable to cook in a rice cooker.
Multigrain rice can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and used cold in scrumptious wraps, sushi or salads. The distinct colour once cooked looks striking tossed through a salad. Try it with Mediterranean vegetables or fresh herbs and crumbled feta cheese.
