Organic Canterbury Semolina
This coarsely ground meal product of durum wheat is often used in traditional Italian recipes. For a porridge bring 2.5 cups milk and 1/3 cup honey to the boil over a medium heat before stirring in 50g of Semolina. Cook, stirring continously for 6 minutes before adding a dollop of butter and serving with stewed fruit or a roasted nut of your choice.
Semolina is also widely used in Italian pasta recipes and in sweets throughout India and the Middle East.
