Chia seeds can be ground to 'Pinole" meal; soaked for drinks and puddings;
and sprouted to use in salads, sandwiches, green smoothies or raw crackers. Dilute pre-soaked chia in a bottle of water with sliced lime, fresh mint and lemon grass to make a refreshing spritzer.
For a quick and easy start to busy mornings, pre-soak seeds the night before for smoothies.
