Linseeds, also called flaxseed, are the richest plant source of omega 3 fats which are essential for healthy a brain, heart, joints and immune system. These seeds are packed with B-complex groups of vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6 and folate. This tiny seed is best ground fresh to preserve its nutritional profile and prevent oxidisation and is a great form of insoluble fibre, which is particularly effective at cholesterol regulation and hormone balancing.
