Buckwheat Wraps (GF, DF, Nut Free, Vegan)

by Elora Harre

Buckwheat wraps are fabulous for everyone and so versatile. Use as a wrap, a naan bread replacement or even a thin pizza base.

Buckwheat is very similar in taste, appearance, size and texture to barley except buckwheat nutrition has the advantage of containing ZERO gluten! Buckwheat is safe for anyone with celiac disease or a gluten sensitivity and can easily stand in place of gluten containing grains.

Buckwheat isn't even a grain - it's actually a seed! It's also high in protein and contains twelve amino acids - the building block of protein that support energy, growth and muscle synthesis.

We sell both Buckwheat Flour and Buckwheat Groats over on Nourish & Thrive and one of our absolute favourite recipes for Buckwheat WRAPS!

Most of all, buckwheat wraps are super simple to make.
