Organic Licorice Root
Licorice root has a warm, earthy, aniseed flavour and has been valued for centuries for its soothing effects.
Use 1 teaspoon for each cup of hot water.
Steep for 8 to 10 minutes. Sweeten with a little honey, if desired.
Licorice root is a delicious addition to chai tea blends and can also be used to flavour savoury or sweet dishes.
Grind to a fine powder for baked goods, sauces, hotpots and desserts, or make a strong infusion and let cool before using in ice creams and sorbets.
