Vital Wheat Gluten
Use Vital Wheat Gluten to make a delicious meat replacement- Seitan.
Mix with chickpea flour and spices to form a dough. Knead, then boil in broth or steam- the product is a chewy, meat like substitute which can be used in many Vegetarian and Vegan recipes. Make meat free steaks, meatballs, roasts, burgers and much more!
You can also improve the crumb and texture of your bread by adding a few tablespoons of Vital Wheat Gluten to the mix, especially when using low protein flours such as Rye.
